I totaled only 9,720 miles this year. That is well under the 21,000 to 22,000 miles I normally total but a broken leg kept me from riding at all for 5 months and limited how much I could ride for a few more.

Yes, but at least you were riding and able to ride! :eek:ccasion7: I assume your going to continue to ride?

Only about 5,000 I think, The bike set idle from April to August (peak riding months as I had to take care of family matters 1100 miles away :()
But I'll make it up this year :)

An expensive year though, $50 in added LED lights and the $154 drive belt and a Michelin rear tire. Which will raise my cost per mile... Oh well

2012 = 7504 miles in the second half of the year, I bought it in July. :)
2013 = 2853 miles. :(

Hope to ride a lot more in 2014, now that I will be in Lower AL all year.

I rode about 9,000 miles. Pretty good considering it rained nearly every day all summer. When it wasn't raining I was mowing my 2 or 3 acres the animals are not on.

Burgman miles only, or ALL motorcycle/scooters? Here's mine:
2010 Honda NT700 5,205 miles
2013 Burgman 400: 1808 miles
2013 Honda PCX 150: 770 miles
Total: 7783 miles
I plan on a lot more in 2014!

Well, here's where I started;
Burgman 25,611
ST1100 76,263
And here's where I finished;
Burgmman 26,820
ST1100 87,010
So that gives me a total of;
Burgman 1,209 and
ST1100 10,747
for a grand total of 11,956 miles for the year

Not bad considering I never got to take my "vacation" rides I had planned. I've got to do a timing belt/water pump switch on the ST to get it ready for a LONG trip somewhere this summer. I've got to change a belt and put some sliders in the Burgman and start saving some money on my commutes (again)!

If I lived in The Land Of No Snow, I'd be on my bike right now. As it is, our season starts in May and lasts until October. Our touring season through the mountains is June to September and we've done 10,000km (6500 miles) each season since 2009.

There's always a trade-off, Scott. I live in the Land Of No Snow and ride every day. BUT I also live in the Land Of Straight Roads Through Flat Land. I've had my 650 since October 31st and I've already got 5000 miles on her. But a trip through the mountains is a heck of an adventure because I don't get much practice running through twisties. Never regret getting to live where there are mountains, even though you have to pay the price in snow. We have to pay the price in hurricanes.
