I own a Yamaha Tmax,,, I bought the Tmax cause I couldn't get a 650 Burgman due to being in short supply at the time and the few that dealers had they wanted higher than MSRP.
My rider friends have abonded me cause they don't want to ride with me cause I ride a scooter.
I have reached out for new friends to ride with, I have kissed their butts and begged them to ride with them,,, some were friendly making fake excuses or giving me wrong times and dates to show up with nobody around,,,, some were just plain mean saying they don't want me riding with them.
There are 2 different scooter clubs in my area were BOTH refused my membership and even one of these scooter clubs have guys with Harley's and crotch rocket bikes riding with them,,, but they refused me.
I ask them for a reason and they just simply say the members have voted me down and they have a right to choose who they don't want.

I am the only one around that owns the Tmax,,, the majority of the scooter club members are Burgman's, maybe 90%, with maybe 2 Silverwings mixed in and 1 Kymco.
I am a very good looking man with a perfect body, so they can't refuse me cause i'm fat and ugly, I am a very skilled rider so nobody would have to wait up for me.

Or is it the Tmax I own? I have great respect for the 650 Burgman and I understand it has more power than my Tmax,,, but is the reason cause the owners of the Burgman's are afraid that my Tmax will show them up and make them look bad?
Are they worried if we make a stop somewhere at a bike or scooter show that my Tmax will get all of the attention and nobody will look at their Burgman?
Why can't these scooter clubs be honest and tell me? I asked them for the real reason and they just refuse to talk to me.

I am too much of a fun guy to be riding alone,,, I am fun to be with with, I can pick up women from their boyfriends at bars, I can insult Harley riders,,, its THEIR loss they don't have ME as their riding friend!

Perhaps it's your shy, retiring, nature and lack of self-esteem?
Maybe they don't feel worthy to talk to you because they're fat and ugly? Or perhaps they're upset because you you picked up their women, or maybe in the one club you insulted their Harley?

I guess some things in life are simply destined to remain a mystery. But I guess that regardless of whatever the true reason is, you'll be able to survive. :D

You don't have your location in your profile, so it will be hard for someone to invite you to join them. Hear in the Tampa Bay area we have a few scooter clubs that you would be welcome to join. Where are you located?

He hasn't signed on since he made this post back in the beginning of March. I suspect we are wasting out time trying to answer someone who may or may not ever come back and read the answers.

Well, it can't be him, he's practically perfect in every way! I'd give my right testicle to be able to ride with someone like him.
