Hi Guys,

Still looking for a new burgman 650. I'm in Los Angeles Area.

Went to the dealer last weekend and they had about 6-7 new 2003 Burgman an650. They were asking $5995.00 plus fees, tax, and license.

I think I might be able to negotiate it down to $6500.00 OTD.

What do you guys think is a fair price for a new 2003 650 burgman.

One more thing, what are the differences between 2003 model VS. 2004 model.

If you can get it for $6500 OTD(including tax,license,etc.) you should definetley jump on it. I know I would. As far as the differences between the 03's and 04's, i'm not really sure. But I am sure someone here knows for sure. The only difference I can think of off the top of my head is the color choices. Silver both years, Blue for 03 only, Black for 04 only. 8)

Plus the 04 model has a plastic rain deflector on the Left side lower shield around the kickstand area. Other than that there the same.

If you can get it for $6500, ride out fast before they decide to add the freight and prep charge as most dealers do. Unless you really want the black then the 04 is the same as the 03 except for the $11.99 rain deflector on the 04's.

just remember that you are buying a one year depreciated bike. Nobody will care down the road when the bike was actually put in service by you, but will look it up in a resale book to guage the price.

If you plan on keeping it a while, it really doesn't matter however.
