I really had no idea that a blue tooth headset would do so many things.. I got it to match to a new Garmin Zumo 665 GPS.. But I am using it a lot without the GPS being connected.
It connects automatically to my phone.. The set up has stero speakers in my helmet .. the boom mike runs off of a speaker so it is already inside my modular helmet (Shoei Neotech).. I can make and receive calls easily without distortion. The unit also has a built in FM radio.. which works "OK".. I just bought a bluetooth signal splitter which is a small unit that plugs into my Ipod and via bluetooth connects to the headset...
The volume is fine and the sound is decent.... When using the Zumo, which comes with XM radio (and also weather and traffic which are both nice) the volume is not as loud as with the headset running directly.. all in all this is accomplishing everything I wanted it to do.. I am very pleased with it..
