We actually had to use or fireplace instead of the furnace when it got down to the mid 40's.

I hope his forcast is wrong. Brutal winter, short, cool summer then another brutal winter here in the North East? Time to make a move I'm thinkin'.

We will have to see if they are right! Roswell is in the "well below average temps with average to above average snowfall".

This would be fine with me. I will still ride, I just have to put more gear/clothing on. I won't ride if there is snow on the ground or coming down, unless it is very light. Any and all moisture will be gladly appreciated as we have been in drought for years. This summer has been nice, good rains almost where it should be.

CA has been mild, all year. Very little winter weather, virtually no rain and summer has been mild as well. Only a couple weeks in triple digits.

We're riding central Ca this weekend and normally in August it would be high 90s or low 100s. This weekend, high 80s. Perfect riding weather in CA and I'm not complaining, but it is weird.

It has impacts on all of us touring....intense rain and hail events are more severe and what you might ride through in the past .....well have a very close weather eye out.....that may not be your childhood summer storm looming.

I'm hoping for a mild clear fall....got some serious catch up to do on riding this year.

I'd say come to Florida, where winter is the NICE time of year to ride... but it's flat as a pancake and that makes me say try North Georgia or East Tennessee.
