MJR, Thanks for the link to the fiche parts list/diagram. I've printed it so that I have a better idea of how the thing's put together. Mark, at Clearview just told me that the installation is pretty straightforward, and is e-mailing me the instructions that will come with the shield.
After I mis-identified the transmission filler opening during my first oil change, I'm not taking anything for granted when I do any work on my Burgman.
People here told me that I'd never make the same mistake twice (I filled the clutch housing, rather than the transmission with 10w40) when I work on my Burgman, but I'd rather not screw things up in the first place.
