I just purchased a used 650 trade in from a Honda dealer. Can anyone tell me what the two threaded but empty holes (about 12mm) that are located one on each side next to the instrument cluster are there for, or what I don't seem to have? Thanks in advance, Douge

They are for missing screws that hold the dash cover on. There are 8 screws in all, one each down below small glove boxes, two each near the mirrors and two just below the speedometer.

I can't think of any thread holes that big that are on either side of the dash.

The holes are not 12mm but the indention's that the screw heads rest in are about 12mm.

I agree with John they are for 2 screws that are missing.
