My wife and I are on the first leg of our 2300 mile trip, and we are having trouble with her bike. It keeps tripping the 10 amp ignition fuse, leaving her dead in the water. It has happened at various speeds, anywhere from an idol to moving at 65 miles an hour. Of possible consideration is that we recently had the front forks replaced, and she has dropped it several times, but always at slow speed. I brought lots of tools, but no electrical equipment. We will have to take it to a shop tomorrow, and hope there is a mechanic in. Does anyone have some suggestion more specific than looking for pinched wires or something like that?

Sounds like pinched wires, from the front fork, there are to Stoppers Between the Fork and sometime the wires get's Stuck Between them, + POS - Ground Since the frame is -NEG So who ever did the work on the fork did not put the wire Harness back on Correctly, So you want to take a flash light and look at the Center of the fork Guide,

I had this problem before but Only blew Lights out... but that's a 2009 may do something different then the 2007'

Intermittent electrical probs are most likely due to wiring problems. Something shorted out. Or damaged. Good luck
