New 2003

You might want to call around to several dealers to check pricing and availablility of a new 2003. I just purchased a brand new 2003 AN650 for $1200 below MSRP. I've seen some used bikes advertised for more than that recently ... and you get the full mfg warranty and dealer support.

Good luck.

I am well aware that anyone can purchase a new Burgman 650 for $6500 but out the door price is just under $7500. The dealers are discounting but adding set up fees. Used Burgman sell for $5100. I love this bike but I feel Suzuki priced it too high. They could of left off the manuel shifter and knocked off at least $1000. I feel the shifter is a novelty anyway.

2003 Suzuki AN650 Burgman
2-Cylinder
4-Stroke
638cc
Trade-In Value (Good Condition) $4375

The trade-in value represents what you might expect to receive from a dealer for this consumer-owned unit. Keep in mind that the dealer must then absorb the cost of making the unit ready for sale, advertising, sales commissions, arranging financing and insurance and standing behind the unit for any mechanical or safety problems. Trade-in values are based on clean units in good condition, with all original standard equipment. Mileage/condition and additional equipment may have a substantial impact on the value shown above.

Hi Jay -- I think we talked on the phone some time ago, hope all is well with you.

Now stop being a miser and just buy a new one
Being a mizer is my nature. I quit my job 2 years ago and went back to school to be a special education teacher. I have the right to be one. just kidding. I love the Burgman and will buy a used one. I am not a emotional buyer when it comes to big ticket item such as real estate or vehicles. There is always a deal out there, I just need to be patient.
how far will you drive/fly to get it?

I saw a 650 Burgman sold on ebay for $5150 - a nice 650 with very low mileage. (out of Los Angeles!)

Item # 2454638289

Another did not sell at a requested price of $7200 which I thought was too high.

I just checked autotrader.com and the cheapest 650 is about $6500 - new. I didn't see too many used 2003's.

Good luck with your search for the used Burgman. If I see one I'll email you.
