Ok, so I go online tonight to look up an air filter. I have a K&N, but was wondering how much a "X" filter would cost. I was just curious as to the OEM type airfilters.

Anyway, I'm about to change the tires and I started thinking about things and KNOW that it's been a while since I checked/changed the variator weights. About 3 to 4K ago I switched the clutch and the weights looked ... well usable IF I switched some of the older weights with the better ones currently in the variator. SO I end up here reading about the variator plate issues and figured I'd modify the plate and ordered a new plate (just in case I messed up). Then I found that DR has roller weights now and since the mods cause a slight increase in RPMs decided to order the 20gr weights. I also ordered a new set of plate slides and before I knew it have spent over a bill on parts and shipping. None-the-less, when I get done it should run a whole lot better!

Oh yeah, I decided to clean the K&N again! LMBO!

I think I need help (or something). :)

Locate your closest Burgman Re-Hab center.....Addiction is a terrible thing.

I went online to get some brake pads last fall and ended up with a whole lot more including LED's, Carbon Fiber wrap, gear etc....
My wife had to put me on the 12 step program............
I must now sell the Harley before I can get my new windscreen and who knows what else. 8)

No she's a keeper! but the Harley was only a project bike and very replaceable.
Although she rarely rides any more she never stops me from riding whenever the urge hits me. 8)
This is our 30th year together and I'm too old and set in my ways to break in another one.

Congratulations!
I've only got about half that - got a VERY late start. I know what you mean though. Mine is worried about my hobbies. It seems I have about 10K in R/C Airplane stuff sitting in "my hobby room" that hasn't been touched in 10 years. She asks me once a year or so if I'm going to start flying again - I just tell her, "Yeah".
My latest hobby actually turned into a business that may do a pretty good job of supplementing the retirement in a few years. Of course that creates spending money for me that she doesn't have :D But she also doesn't have to worry about the above purchase (and all of them that are similar) to come out of any of the budgets
