The Battery in my 2008 / 400 is getting old and starting to get weak , what does the majority Recommend as the Best replacement , and where is the best place to order it from ,Price wise and Service wise . Thanks In advance. Y---Block

I got mine from batteries plus. Not the cheapest, but a year longer warranty plus an ATM style that handles not being charged for a while better.

I saved money and got the MoBatt AGM battery and it ONLY lasted 8 months.
Currently the original 8 year old battery is back in and still working while I wait for the warranty replacement. :roll:

Thanks Guys ,I've been Checking all the sites out and I think I'm going to try Batterystuff ,But first I want to measure the Battery Compartment , to see The largest Amp Hour Battery I can use , for the few extra $ A few more cranking Amps sure won't hurt . I will post and let you all know How i Make out .

Well, you can Use at least 10 Amps or 12 Amps i Ran 14 Amps thru mines with the Reserve Battery, Not sure how high are Burg's can go up to.

MotoBatt AGM battery and it ONLY lasted 8 months. Well, must have been a defect i had mines installed at least a year or more or so, Did one Maintenance Re-fill on it so far, no problems Since.

I put a Motobatt in mine 4 years ago and runs like a champ,,no problems at all, plus
I don't ride as much and have had no issues and no need to recharge it.

Yeah! Scootereno, i had to do something in cold weather the Battery started dropping off when the temps were 39-48 i'v been dealing with no starts for weeks, So when i Added Fluid it Seem to have fixed the Problem.... Since then it's been running like a champ.

MY first replacement was from Auto Zone and it lasted almost 2 years. The second was from Advance auto parts & it lasted 1 1/2 years and completely died in an instant one day. I couldn't believe it went completely dead so quickly & had the ignition switch almost removed thinking it was the problem. There wasn't even a dash light to be seen.
Batteries don't last to long in Florida with the summer heat- it's worse than the cold weather.

Cold Cranking Amps ratings?? Are "10" the original Suzuki Stock Battery is "9"

Well Gang , I have my new Battery Installed and Is working Great I ended up buying one the same size as the original as Per Amps, More amps made the battery an Inch taller , and would not let you install the plastic cover over the top of the battery . I bought it from www.chromebattery.com out of Indiana. The price was also Right $ 29.95 Including Shipping . Hard to beat That . also It was shipped in just a few days . Now we will see how long it holds up. But for the price I could buy 3 of them for what I would have paid at some of the other dealers .

I bought my first replacement from here and it lasted right at 14 months - just outside the one year warranty. I replaced it with the same battery (DOH!) and hooked up a Battery Tender Jr. I don't plug it in all the time - only when or after it has sat for a while. It's close to 3 years old (I think this fall) and doesn't seem weak at all. Oh, I also put on a battery bug to give me a reading.
