I plan to use the rear-facing camera to continually show the area behind the tablet that I can't see because of the tablet. I promise not to play Candy Crush while I am riding. Only at stop lights.

I'm concerned about wind effect, give us an update when you've got a few hiway miles and some windy turns and twisties on it

Makes texting and driving so much easier and keep all those bugs off of you too. Especially after cutting down the windscreen. Counter steering contently to compensate for the wind buffeting helps the chicken strips fade too.
What a Great Idea! Absolutely Brilliant!

Yeah, this was done as a joke, thinking the absurdity of it would be apparent. It's a $4,000 tablet I use for work, there's no way I would trust it to those 2 puny screws in the brake reservoir!

not sure if you're kidding but as long as you're happy with it, I am, my concerns are the loss of visibility and handle bar extra weight, you could install a camera on the rear and get the video stream through that monitor when not using your GPS.

another idea could something like this:

My only concern is that this GPS runs off of Windows instead of an open source platform such as Android :p

I'm planning to eventually try mounting a 7-8" tablet on top of the center of the handlebar cover (AN650K5). I'll post details when I finish the project, if I ever get around to finishing it.

I just ordered a trike kit. When finished it will have a 10" screen and a 7" screen! :D

It will also have a wing span of 27 feet.
