It has rained here for the last 2 weeks or more. I am becoming Vitamin D deprived!
We are stuck in a jet stream of Gulf moisture that just won't quit.
The Positive side of it is that I have thoroughly test my rain gear.
The Negative side of it is that I have thoroughly tested my rain gear.:?
I don't mind riding in the rain but not lightning, hail, or high gusty winds and luckily all my rides have been spared those.
I am just getting tired of cleaning all the grime off me, my gear, and my Burgman on a daily basis.:(

It is awful here too! My bike has not been ridden since last Saturday - just cannot bring myself to leave home on it in the rain. With so few miles on the bike and especially the tires, I am a bit nervous about all the water standing on the road plus the way the cagers drive here when it is wet. I am not typically a "fair weather rider" but do not want to have to grab the brakes hard on an asphalt pond lol!

Rain? Thats nothing! We had temps the north side of 100 for the beginning of this week - topped out at 106 Monday and 104 Tuesday. I rode the Burgman to the golf course Monday - wasn't too bad getting there. Going home (7 miles) the air was like a blow torch on my face. It'll top out at a more normal 88 today and looks like around 90 for the next week or so - and of course - dry - since this is a high desert environment. Humidity isn't much of a problem here since it all seems to fall on Seattle and surrounding areas. I don't mind that! :D Well Dave-J and Daboo might - but I don't.

It has been raining almost every day here in the Piedmont for two or three weeks now.
Last year at this time we were under severe drought conditions .
I read that we had received 11 inches of rain in June alone.

Since i am still dealing with my bad back it's not too bad, but i am getting a bit of cabin fever. Thought about going for a short ride today, got out of the garage and it was flat out HOT & HUMID , decided to take a nap instead :D

104 & 106 I would love that weather. 92 at 5:15 am & headed for 114 here in the desert of So. Cal around Palm Springs. When the alarm in the morning at 4:45 goes off and the A/C in the house turns on it's not a day to ride. Used the A/C in the truck driving to work. On a good note weatherman is saying chance of rain Friday and only 95. I'm riding my 650 Friday:hello1:

Finally we got some heat in between the rain (Still having daily afternoon showers though). I have been acclimated to the heat and humidity so things are good. Don't know if I could hang with DesertRat in that dry heat though.

Wow That is some rain!

You folk can blame me for the rain State Side anyway.

I bought my new 2013 Burgman 400 ABS June 22 - it has rained every day since then!
I have managed to get 337 miles on it anyway!
