Temps today in Northwest Ohio are in the 20s but it is March and April will follow soon. Really getting the itch to be on two wheels and although the winter hasn't been terrible by Ohio standards it's been bad enough to keep this senior citizen cold weather wimp from riding. Thinking about the Blue Ridge Parkway from beginning to end. I'm thinking that will be my goal this year. Late June or early July I'm thinking. I've done the Parkway tip to tip round trip twice. It is a great ride. If you have the time, do it both ways. The views and experience is totally different when you come back. It's almost like a totally different road. I think June would be better before the vacationers clog it up and the middle of the week works better than the weekends due to the traffic.

That's about like riding the Talimena Scenic Byway between Mena, Ark.,
& Talihina, Okla.....a trip west-bound looks different from the trip east-bound.
