I am wrestling with a big scoot purchase. Now I have a Scarabeo 150
and it's gotta go for more power. Sadly, I have limited room in my
garage. I've already looked at the Atlantic 500 (too wide I think),
Reflex 250 (too small enginewise), and now am looking at the Burgers.
If this doesn't pan out, then the Piaggio X9 in August (cross
fingers).

The manufacturers provide numbers are all over the board and make no
sense!! For example, Scarabeo is said to be 28"/720mm wide, but that
is only the handebar... the bike itself never gets wider than 24"..
Seeing as handlebars can turn about 30 degrees, that is a non issue.

Please measure the width at the widest points starting at the
front going back. List where you measured and the dimensions please.

I would love to be able to reassemble a numerical crossection to see
just how big this sucker is. I'd go to a dealer that had one, but no
one around me has one.

I really want to buy the 650, but as best as I can tell it's 2" wider
than the 400 - well, the specs don't tell you where?!

Thanks all in advance.

Thanks tons Migz... that's what I was looking for. It seems to me the 650 is truly 2-3" wider at the tail. In comparison, my Scarabeo is 24" in that area.. this may yet be doable!

Now to find one - and get a deal!
