Okay the rear shredded under hard riding and two days of rough pavement including construction - had an odd wear pattern too....

Dealer said I should have changed the front too which surprised me as the front usually goes much further.....

How worn is this.
He was worried about it getting down to the cords just on the 200 mile ride home....

Was he correct??

dangerously due?..I did order two fronts for $175 shipped so I will change it but he made me very nervous and was not sure it was justified.

Would never ride on worn tire like that, such bad condition is looking for big trouble.

When I get wear bar still use tire a bit but change soon after.

I must say you've gotten your monies worth out of those tires!

Seriously poor condition

My scooter would be afraid to park next to yours with tires like that. Something snags one of those chords, shreds the tire causes rear wheel lock up and you are high side into the grill of an oncoming semi. AKA dead.

Front is also well past due, I would have to be running from zombies to let it go that long.

Glad you ordered tires and took the dealers advice.

The rear wasn't shredded when I left...it shredded during some twistie riding tho it was due to be replaced.
It did not hold air in the condition shown.
I sort of worked backward from when I replaced last and realized I actually got a lot of mileage from the Metz
Riding 9 months in Canada on the Burgman and then 2 different machines in Australia I tend to lose track of what I replaced where.

How did you like the Metz? I like riding the twisties too, and have a Feel Free Metz coming on Monday.

Cheers,
