This is the first time I have attempted to post a photo on the website (other than the little avatar). I was going to post a photo in the member section. Perhaps I am missing something, but I can't find any instructions on how to go about posting a photo.......not in "FAQ", not in "How to...", and a search under "How to post a photo" or "posting a photo" comes up with dozens of unrelated items. In the member gallery itself even after I login I see no buttons to click (or whatever it takes) to load the photo. I'm sure I am missing something simple, but I figured I'd just ask rather than spend more time on the matter.........Thanks

Thanks Bill for the quick reply............HOWEVER

I have been to the gallery many times to view the photos. I have logged on using the username and password a number of times. So I guess my question is....
Then What?
Again, I'm sure I'm missing something idiotic, but I still know of no means to actually post the photo . Thanks x 2

Once you log in, you'll want to create an album using the link in the upper right. It should then take you into the new album and "add some photos" should be in the center of the screen. From the admin dropdown, select "add photos" and it'll bring up a new window. Note - popup blockers can keep the new window from appearing. It'll download a java applet (may take a bit) and warn you about the certificate. At the warning, click "yes". You can then use the new window to upload photos. If you have any questions, just let me know.

Once you've uploaded some photos, you'll probably want to go up to the main gallery page (using the up arrow near the logout link) and rename the title to some very descriptive using the "Edit Title" link. You also should rename the album using the "Rename Album" link providing a short decriptive name.

I was able to navigate the process of creating a new album.

My final (I hope) question:

I am not seeing how to add the photo to an album that is already there. I was trying to add to the "Some of the BurgmanUSA members-actual photos" gallery, but when I open that up (after having been logged in) I don't see any drop-down possibilities to add to that particular gallery, and I'm not trying to create a new album at present. Thanks x 3

A thought: Maybe some of the minutiae of the process could be put in the FAQ section at the top of each page for future members who aren't familiar with the "how to" of posting a photo.

If you don't see the admin dropdown when in a gallery, you do not have the permissions required to make changes there. It was probably created with a different username and password. Only the gallery owner/creator and the administrator (Bryan/Geeengoose) can make changes.
