Is this a shot-in-the-dark question or has this vibration been reported and/or documented? I ask because I have a 2008 and others that have different years all seem to report its a very smooth drive train.

I know you are asking about 2013 models but my 07 does not vibrate at all up to the highest speed I've taken it: 110 mph. At around 80 is the "sweet spot" where it runs perfectly. I've been hugely impressed...

Both my 2005 and my 2009 had a bit of vibration that smoothed right out around 15,000 miles....but it was minimal.

I never "noticed" vibration so, I went out today to observe rpms/vibration. On my 2013 650, vibrations seem to max out at around 3000rpm and smooth out from there. If I place my feet firmly on the front floorboards, it seems to be more noticable. Anyway, to call what I feel, "vibration" is somewhat subjective. I had to pay attention in order to make a comment in this thread.

The only time I felt a vibration, (03) was playing around in manual mode, and added power when it was below 3,000 rpm.

It does not like that.

My '13 has a noticeable vibration between 2500-3000rpm under light acceleration and then smooths out over the rest of the rpm range. A little more noticeable during the very first mile or so in the morning. If I accelerate a little more briskly I don't notice as the tach flys by that 500 rpm range pretty quickly. Like I said, the rest of the ride is as smooth as glass....My '09 went through all sorts of quirky stuff (vibrations, squeaks, creaks, rattles, etc) during the first 5000 miles or so. I did not report the vibration on the 600 mile service and they did not say anything was out of whack so I will see if this one little thing works itself out in the next 1000 miles or so before I ask to have it looked at...Overall ride seems a little smoother than the '09.

All motorcycles and all scooters vibrate to one degree or another , out of all the scooters I've owned I think the 650 burg is about the smoothest , it seams that the smaller the scooter the more the vibration . Maybe it's the weight , but hey what do I know ?

With over 8,000+ mi on my '09, I went through the same all sorts of quirky stuff (vibrations, squeaks, creaks, rattles, etc) during the first 7000+ miles or so. before getting everything shimmed. Now my '09 is silky smooth and quiet :D It is smoother than my former BMW R1200R with similar RPM to MPH ratio. The BMW has more torque and power as it is twice the size, but in comfort -this would have to go to the '09 B650EX, but darn frustrating shimming out all the quirks. '09 B650 more comfortable both on streets and highway cruising at this time than ever was my R1200.

Just wondering, does the '13 have the quirky stuff like the '09
