how hot is ok?

I always wonder, how hot should I warm my an400 engine before riding it? usually I wait untill the gauge reach the left side of the "normal" position. how long do you always wait?

I usually just let it idle for a bit before I take off...like less than a minute. Just long enough that I know that the oil's flowing through...

How long have you been waiting for the guage to move up??
