it's possible , if other mufflers have similar, but I would think a weep hole would be a a low point, then again, it may acdtually be a low point on the inside

Or a HIGH PRESSURE area.

Thanks, guys. I got some 1000-degree JB Weld and I guess I’ll go seal it up—Mikey, agree that if others have the hole then I’d be more comfortable leaving it as is. Also, gosh, I hope the muffler doesn’t have other problems?m! The pic does make things look pretty bad, but the rest of the muffler looks…decent? And what symptoms would a bad muffler have?

The only actually comparing I currently have muffler-wise (if this is even a muffler thing) is that the bike has a certain gassy smell when I operate it. Not sure if that’s just normal tho. Have driven enough that I’d think it’s no longer just from sitting but maybe not. I’ll throw in some more sea foam just in case

Yes and yes. The 2003 is on my current ride. The 2008 is my spare pipe with an o2 sensor bung.
I took those 2 pictures about 40 minutes ago.
