Read both the original article and yours. I agree with you. I know I have helped a couple of hipsters become real motorcycle lovers in the past few years. I too feel that anyone on any bike is welcome to come and hang out with this grandpa. Maybe they like to hang out with me because that is hip too? I don't care. If we all go out and ride, its cool for me too.

Here in Australia, "hipsters" are a form of low cut men's briefs.

Basically, you don't mix hipsters and motorcycles if you want to avoid monkeybutt.

Why do they call New Zealand "downunder", I thought Aussies were in downunder? Also I make homebrew beer using a technique normal to aussieland....BIAB (called Brew In A Bag)....a gigantic tea bag.

Nowadays I think "downunder" generically applies to anyone living south of the equator.

I'm not familiar with "brew in a bag", so I read up on it - sounds interesting and I may give it a try, I haven't produced homebrew for the last 7-8 years so I guess it was before my time.

hipster are all over the place, you could write a book on it. hispters are a new social trend these days, same thing (ok, dont get offended) the hip hop, break dance, surfers, bikers, hippies, vegans, cowboys, etc.

as long as they/we ride with respect. its all good.
