Anyone from around Blairsville, GA area. I need to put my hands on and maybe even ride a 650 exec before I decide to buy one of those or BMW's new 650 GT.
Anyone out there with experience on both. Sure would like to hear from you. Thanks. Mick

I'm in TX so I can't help you out. There is a thread on the differences btw the Burgman and BMW though.

I've owned Burgmans before and test rode the 650GT at the local dealer. The engine sounded like a tractor and the off the line speed seemed slower. Storage is less too.
The suspension is probably better but that is about it. There is a reason I just bought a 2011 Executive.

Welcome! I'm a bit south of you in Lawrenceville and prefer my 400 over either of the others. 8)
But that is just me and my style and my love of mid-sized bikes over the bigger ones.
We ride through Blairsville often when we do our mountain runs with 650 and 400 Burgman and a Majesty.
Each has their own good points and purpose for their owners.
You might also want to check out the Kymco brand as they are making the BMW scooter and will cost less.
But I am a firm believer in riding one before buying one!
