Hi. I'm Bob from Knoxville, TN. I bought my first scooter (a Sears Allstate) in 1953 and have been in love with scooters ever since (although a number of motorcycles edged their way into my life since then). I got back into scooters last year with a 1993 Honda Helix (250cc)(with 3,200 miles) and last night added a 2004 Burgman 400 (with 5,610 miles). I have taken long trips with the Helix and in a couple of weeks will be taking a riding/camping trip from Knoxville to New York City on the Burgman. I would love to hear of any scooter gatherings in the east Tennessee area.

Hi from Italy
This is Popex news member
I owners several scooters and motorbikes in my life.
I owned a couple of Lambretta, then some italian Motomorini. I've just sold my last Honda Transalp for a 2008 Burgman 650 executive.
I decided to join Burgman usa community because I've found a lot of useful information and tips about the Burgman.
I'm very fond of mechanics and I've always serviced my self my motorbikes, so I hope to be able in the near future to give my small contribution to the community knoledge.
Good ride to everybody

Welcome from Frankfort, KY, just up the road from you! I grew up in Jellico, TN and went to Knoxville for most of our "big city" shopping excursions. I am on my second 400 now - sold my 2005 in 2007 for a "real motorcycle" but after owning 3 other bikes realized nothing compares to the comfort, style and functionality of the 400! Enjoy your ride!
