Yes you are correct he did sell at end of June (just trawled his posts).

He was about to have back surgery, hence the sale. It would be nice to know if he is OK and to let him know we are all thinking of him.

I will email him. I last 'spoke' to him mid July. :!: [Edit I have emailed Ted and asked him how thigs are - adding our best wishes

Ted White was quite a character, and I enjoyed his posts. He seemed to turn motorcycles over quite quickly - he had owned quite a few in the last few years. I looked at his most recent column the other day, and he made mention of resuming bicycle riding recently. I rather suspect that the "back operation" thing was his exit line to ease out of the Burgman community - but I certainly could be wrong.

I still visit the Bisbee Marquee occasionally to read his monthly columns. He can be quite hilarious at times. I miss having him in the forum.

What a great humorous writer. I'll have to read more of his stuff when I get some time.
