say i just got the jensen jhd910 surface mount radio for my burgy 650 and mounted it on the bars. and my helmet speakers don't have any volume when i plug them in. has anyone else had this problem with this radio? the manufacture is working with me to resolve the issue but i wonder if i need a different type of speaker? all the helmets i have are doing the same thing but i have a set of head phones for the computer that sound ok, so maybe i just need to get a different type of speaker for this radio. any help will be welcome. thanks

I have yet to find helmet speakers that were good for anything more than voice.
That's why I have speakers mounted on the pillion seat and a sub woofer in the trunk or use ear buds.

Review from Revzilla: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...kw={keyword}&gclid=CJy76Zq0ircCFYFo4AodDkgAYw

A few of us in our group have these bluetooth helmet speakers/communicators and the sound quality is extremely clear, even at highway speeds. You can buy a single or dual unit, but if you go in with a buddy you'll save a few bucks if you buy the dual package. Very simple to install/sync to the phone (I use an iPhone) and to operate. You can communicate with other riders in the group, listen to music (Pandora or iTunes) and be totally hands free to answer incoming calls with a simple: "Hello"

Prior to getting this I was afraid I would be too distracted or perhaps not be able to hear the ambient noise while having the music on also, but it's not an issue. I can hear the motor and the traffic around me - while still wearing protective ear plugs too.

Really interesting.. Boomless mic is a great concept.. I have a Shoei Neotec and a reviewer said that the speaker/mic unit doesn't fit that helmet well which is too bad...
