We were in Northern VA at the same time. I was an Air Force instructor at the Defense Mapping School at Ft Belvoir 79-83. Lived in south Arlington off of Glebe Rd and 16th St. Thanks for your service too. Quite an honor to be assigned to the Old Guard.

Small world! I came to Texas in 2007, lived in Fort Worth, Aledo, and finally settled in Arlington, I am originally from Brooklyn, NY. The Lord, directed me to Texas, best move I ever made. Great State. I volunteered for the Service in Nov 1976, wanted to go into the AIr Force, but I failed the color blind test, instructor said that I was so badly color blind that I might accidentally miss the target and bomb us, couldn't see the colored buttons on the panel. (LOL)!
Loved the service and yes it was a honor to serve our country.
Once again thank you MSGT, for your fine and dedicated service.
