Hi all, I've been reading &reserching this site all winter long lusting for a Burgman. Finally got a new leftover 2012 400 last week. I had been wanting a 650 but when my wife said"I'm not riding a scooter" I decided the 400 was good enough for me.She has been spoiled by a goldwing trike for years. I have'nt got to try it out yet because of weather but i luv it already. I'm not new to scooters as i have 2 Genuine Buddy 125's plus a Yamaha Roadstar and an Honda XR650L in the stable but I'm sure the Burggy will get most of the use now. Anyhow, I'm a pretty old dude at 60,been retired for 8 years and live in extreme SW Pa. I'm sure I'll have some questions but I've learned alot from this excellent forum and the the people here. There is so much info and help here, Thanks All, Don

Welcome and Congrats! I know you will find the 400 very capable and fun.
I think it has a lot less issues and and more "fun factor" as well.

Welcome Don,
I went from a Goldwing 1800 which I rode for years to a Burgmn 650 two years ago. My wife, from
Russia rode only on the goldwing and was also spoiled. Said she wouldn't ride the scooter with me. But after a year
I was going over to Walmart about 2 miles away and she decided just to ride over with me. Now she joy rides with
me all the time.....only took one short ride.....keep your hopes up.

Steve
