I previously had a Burgman 200 for 2 years and decided to move up to the 400 and I am glad I did. It was difficult to find the 2019 Blue. I am still working through the break-in period and nearing my first oil change. Attached pic is from the 1st day home before all the farkles.
So far I have added:
OEM Tall Screen
OEM Heated grips
OEM Handguards
OEM rear rack with Givi V40 Monokey Top Case (a good match with the bike)
Welcome, sir. I have a couple sisters a bit east of Raleigh-Durham, in Nashville. But I surely love the western part of your state the best. Gotta have the mountains. Cheers.
In theory, it was purchased for wifey after she learned how to ride (Forza 300→Burgman 200→Burgman 400) but in reality I rode both of the other bikes more (primarily as a commuter) than she did. I anticipate riding this one more than she will. It is an improvement over the 200 in many ways.
I also have a Versys 650 after downsizing from a Concours 14 but a Burgman 650 might be on the horizon as well (if/when it gets redesigned).
Yeah, that's a common problem, you buy them a bike of their own, and they still don't move out!
