Hello all. I'm Ben from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I don't have a Burgman yet, but the 400 is set to reach dealerships here in January and the SO and I are looking forward to it. She has ridden with me on my Bandit and now wants to start riding her own bike. After looking at the choices her favourite (and mine for her) was the Burgman 400. Great site you've got here, with a lot of good information. Thanks.

Hi Ben! I think the Burgy 400 would be a great starter bike. Bet she can't wait. BTW hows the weather out in that end of the Country? Welcome to the board !

Thanks Allwalk. She's loving the 400 already and the anticipation's going to make for a long winter. We had our first snowfall in late October and it has stayed with us since then. Other than that it's not bad at all, really. The temperatures have been pretty mild for the most part. My bike's parked, but it was a good season so no real complaints, I guess.
