Greetings Joe and welcome to the forum! I'm glad to see you got the sticky center stand switch problem solved quickly. I could only imagine how frustrating that must have been. I bet the grin on your face was worth it though your first ride after the fix.

Welcome

Aloha Joe,

Welcome and I too recently purchased a pre loved silver 650 Burgman. Wish you many carefree n save miles on her.

I have been doing a little research on the long boat rentals for a holiday on the UK canal system. Perhaps one day we can meet. However, sad to say my president along with your prime minister has got the US dollar quite worthless in Europe now (not to mention all the people being killed), so my trek to your corner may not be next summe....

Joe,

I hope you are correct and I am wrong. I don't think the USD will strengthen up until the national debt goes away. This is not going to happen till years after the bushman goes back to Texas. I would love to be wrong on this one. At 55, I can't afford to wait too long can I............

Do you live near any of the 2,ooo miles of canals in the UK? Below is the URL of the boat hire co. I have been in contact with. Is it near you?

UK is just as bad, public borrowing is over its limit, government is borrowing more than they can afford.Anyway, hope you can come to UK soon,England is very small and you can find a canal in every town and city .I think there is a canal behind my house.

Merry Xmas & happy New Year
