I have a 2011 AN400. Of the 2 headlights the left one is a H7 (the one with a little shield) and the right is a H4 bulb of which only the beams is used. Can anyone tell me if the H7 (left -shielded) is used for low beam and the H4 used for high beam or is the H7 used for low beam and the H4 is only used for high beam?

Thank you. I was in the process of rewiring the lights via some relays to reduce the load on the ignition switch. On mine the H4's low beam was never used which seemed a waste. Now both the H7 (left) and the low beam of the H4 (right) come on with low and on high: the H7 stays on but only the high beam on the H4 comes on. Works well except that the LED H4 I bought has low coming on with high even if you drop power to the low beam pin.... currently sorting that out with the supplier.
