We've camped there several years ago. Everything was great then, Good food and some of the best ridding roads Don't know about the new owners, but like most motorcycle campgrounds, they make you feel welcome and meeting other campers and hearing their stories is like icing on the cake.
It is still a great destination or stop over place. We stop there regularly on on day trip rides and always see unique rides there. It is right off Wolfpen Gap Road or "Georgia's Dragontail". We do a loop ride on hwy 60 to hwy 180 (Wolfpen Gap) then back Hwy 129 to www.RidersHill.com another great stopping place and Pancakes your way on the weekends!
If your coming this way I'd be happy to meet up and show you some of the better rides up that way. Turners Corner is a great place to eat on the river at the base of Blood Mountain, Mountain/Hikers Crossing is another cool stop, as is the top of Brasstown Bald Mountain. There are many state parks with lakes and waterfalls and great roads getting to them all.
I love the whole Suches area. Extremely picturesque and the people are very biker friendly.
