Hey does anyone know where the left handlebar switch cable plugs in? It seems to go up towards the back of the instrument panel - that's where I lose it.

And is the plug somewhat easily accessible?

Thanks.

Never traced it to find out. I looked in the service manual and it does not say. Only place I found that showed anything was in the cable routing section. Looking at the drawing there it appears their might be a plug somewhere around the fuse panel under the lights. Then again their may not be, the drawing isn't very clear in that area. It may not be a single plug but a number of plugs, one for each component controlled by the switches.

Thanks - I've seen pics of the cable too. Just wondering where it plugs in and how to get to the plug.

It's got to be in the area under the meter panel. You may be able to get to it just by removing the front leg shield cover right under the windshield that covers the fuse box. If not you are probably going to have to remove the front leg shield and possibly the rear meter panel cover.
