The Canadian Suzuki Burgman web site under the accessories tab is selling "Grip Heater Set" for the 2003/2004 650 Burgman. This is the first I've seen this. I thought the only way to get heaters was from Japan or adapting Honda's version of it. Check it out:

I like the look of the Kuryakin grips on the Burg.
I'm also interested in the heated grips.
Is there any way to have both?

Hey! I bought the Symtec heated grips about two months ago, but it's been too cold to work on the bike. My question relates to hooking them up. I bought the Heat-Troller to control it. Got the grips off, but can't figure out how to take the Tupperware off. I know that I saw pics about this somewhere - but a search for heated and grips doesn't lead to the Gallery. Maybe Tupperware and Grips? Hate to keep asking for help - but I don't want a permanently "Naked Burgman". Note added later: Also my white nylon throttle tube has three rings at the proximal end. Cut away the middle only or should I also cut away the distal ring?

Help with heated grips

I have a 05 400 Burgy and am trying to add heated grips. I have the tupperwear off but I do not find a good wire that is only hot when the switch is on to tap into. I was trying to get to the accessory plug wirebut it is one of those I just can't seem to reach. Can annyone help?

Yes it is possible... I remember reading on this site a while ago about a guy that placed those heat waver things under the Kuryakin grips... He had a nice gallery to show it.... I don't know how well they work...

My friend and I installed Hot grips with the troller and they work pretty well..... Here's the pics.....

If I added the hand gaurds I'd imagine I could ride in near freezing temps for a good while... But the hot grips alone work fairly well... Oh and the hot girps a much thinker then the stock grips so it's pretty nice over all....

heated grips

I ended up taking all the tupperware of the front of the bike including the dash and headlight. and tapped into the back of the adapter. The grips work great and man do they get warm.

Timnizza, that looks pretty sweet! How much for those grips, and how was the install, re: difficulty, time? Looks like you have them on the 400... do you see any problems/difference installing on the 650?
