Greetings from Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island. Are you holding you speed down because of having a low mileage on a fairly new bike? If so don't
hold to the suggested revs suggested by burgman. feel free to open it up and let it run easily without really trying to bury the speedo needle.
Just give the throttle a short twist at take off to get the clutch to bite and just drive it normally. You will probably find your gas mileage
will creep up a bit. ride safely out there
