Google has a couple of tools in beta that I think are pretty good. The first is Google Maps at :

I think the interface is rather slick. I used it to plot a route from my home to the Suzuki dealer in Franklin. It didn't plot the quickest course, nor the best. But it's still fun to play with anyway.
Another good one is Google suggest. Google suggest pops up suggestions of what you're looking for as you type. Along with suggestiions, it displays the number of results for each in the suggestion list. Try it at :

Another beta product that sparked my attention was the Google Video. It allows you to search recent tv shows from the closed captioning. It's currently only providing snapshots of the program. Once they start offering the actual video, it'll be of more use. It can be tested at :
