Was following my wife home today, after picking up our new BMW K1200LT, and noticed the Givi E46 box, on our 400, bouncing around. Checked all the bolts (2) on the back rest and everything was tight. It appears the back rest has a lot of flex. Has anyone designed an extra stut from the rack to the frame? This might eventually cause a metal fatique problem.

Thanks,
Rick

And, no we are not getting rid of the Burgman.

Givi

My 7 yrs old Givi has loosened on the mount. The years of use must have
worn or stretched the slide on connectors. Mine is the cheap, smaller, flat black version. I think they call it a "Traffic" I'm thinking about closing up the gap with tape (?) or silicon rubber. I don't take it on or off very much.
