I never liked the way my Bestem topcase flopped around and always thought it would fall off. It never did in three years. Nonetheless, when I saw a Givi B33 case on sale, i bought it at Amazon. The Givi Monokey rack was on sale at Twisted Throttle.

The difference is remarkable. It can contain my Nolan N104 helmet with space to spare and it's rock solid. It's not too big at 33 liters.

Yes, it cost more than the Bestem case, but it's ever so much better.

GIVI makes some good stuff. No doubt about it. I have a GIVI on my Honda Metropolitan and it is very high quality.

On the other hand, I have a full Bestem 949 setup on the Berg. Mine never flopped around and has always been reliable. I put the full light kit in it and the liner and the 'suitcase' for it. For the money, it has worked well for me.

I had a Bestem on a previous bike and it seemed to be built well enough. It wouldn't stay locked though, popping the lock every time I rode it. I probably could have fixed that but never got around to it.
