That article links to another review of the original 650.

"Right now, the Burgman offers a level of luxury which puts it in a class of its own for $12,990 plus on-roads, it comes very well appointed.

If that's American dollars, then I got a great deal for what I paid!

So Piaggio has one of its brands testing an 850cc scooter engine and we know that Piaggio currently shares engines between the various brands of scooter manufacturers it owns. Not unreasonable to think we'll be seeing 850 Piaggio & Aprilia scooters some time soon.

Very nice.

That's an older review in Canadian dollars, (I think)
Gizmag is Australian and the prices are in their dollars, just a little under the Canadian dollar.

an even larger Scarabeo

Given the way Aprilia protects the marque of Scarabeo, no longer marketing it as a scooter model, just Scarabeo, you have to know they are anticipating spending more money there.

The only question is which brand gets it first. I suspect Gilera but it won't be long before Scarabeo picks it up.
