Hello to everyone
I am new with this toy, made only 1000 miles.
Most of the garages as well as the owner manual specify using SAE 90 Gearbox oil.
Some specialist claimed that suzuki recommended to use 10w-40 (engine oil) for the gearbox .
Is this possible ? :?:

Welcome to the BurgmanUSA forums Bendi.

Both the engine and final drive on the Burgman 400 should be 10w-40. Please see the thread :

Bill's answer is correct (not that he needs me to say so) but since I live in a hot climate I am using
a 20 w 50 in both. and it works very well, I may change to a lighter viscosity for the winter months and maybe not.
