GEAR HEAD CVT QUESTION ????

The 2003 & 2004 call for primary adapter 21755-10GA0 and short bolt 21756-10G00 .

From 2005 to 2011 CVT calls for different primary adapter 21282-10G00 .

The 2005 calls for long bolt 09103-10119 (bolt 12x140 )

The 2006 to 2011 call for another long bolt but different from the 2005 09103-12077 (bolt 12x130)

My question is once the 2003 / 2004 primary adapter is replaced with updated adapter 21282-10G00 do these long bolts fit where the short bolt went ?

The 20-04 CVTs have the same size CVT input shafts as the 05 up, but the hollow shaft was larger diameter so they made that STUPID adapter. They should have made the "Polish" style adapter from the beginning and NOT made the change in 05 up.....

The 05 up does not have an adapter that bolts on the CVT. They have an adapter that slides in from the left side of the engine and the long bolt pulls it all tight. There is a gap between the CVT's input and the adapter. The CVT's input goes directly into the smaller diameter hollow shaft.

So the long bolt is installed from the other side of the engine like that Polish adapter ? Then is the 03 / 04 primary adapter 21755-10GA0 still used ? If not where is the connection to drive the final drive ?
