Welcome. I lived in Cape Town for the whole of 1981 and I remember there being some lekker coast and mountain roads in the Western Cape. I just wasn't into motorcycles/scooters at that time though.

Welcome - George is a lovely area and I always wished I'd had a bike when visiting. I've spend many months over a few years in Western Cape and it's got to be one of the lovelier places on the planet. ( home base was Montagu )

Some of those home grown scoots they are making in SA were tempting. Burgman would be a treat with those wide open roads ( cept on Friday night ).

Welcome Johan! There are definitely some fantastic roads in your area, except that the folks there drive on the wrong side! 8-D

Spent a couple weeks there with a friend who lives right down the coast from you in Hermanus, and was also impressed with your wine industry. Gorgeous wineries and world-class wines. Hope to return some day!
