Hello everyone. I am Jimmy Lightfoot from New Orleans. My current rides are a 2008 Suzuki C90T and an '86 Suzuki Cavalcade. I am going to be selling both bikes as soon as it warms up and the riding weather gets here. The prices (hopefully) rise a little from the winter lows.

I have been riding since I was 13, but age has finally caught up with me. I just turned 71 and the weight of the m/c's are just to much for me. I am no longer comfortable, so I decided it was time for a change. I am certainly not ready to stop riding, but I am looking for something that I can feel comfortable on again.

I started searching for a scooter to replace the bikes, but that something I can still use use for day and overnight trips and getting around town in traffic.

The Burgman looks like it can fit right in for my needs and wants. This is a great forum and I am getting a lot of good information.

Jimmy

Good Morning from cold Maine. I too have been riding 45 years and traded in my c50 last year for a 650 Burgman. After riding ,I wish I had done this years before. Smooth ,quiet and strong! You won't miss the power because these things are rockets!

Welcome and good luck with your sales...I think you'll love the Burgey's, I don't know anyone that doesn't. I think you'll also find that even though there are some things that members of BUSA talk about on the 400/650, but in reality both are awesome reliable bikes. There are just a lot of very knowledgeable people with a great deal of experience on this site and often conversations drive down "minutia" lane. I was in a Yamaha\Suzuki dealership this week and wanted to look at the T-Max just for fun...I'll be darned if they didn't discontinued them.

Anyway welcome aboard.
