I certainly want to be seen by other traffic but I'm afraid that these would be too bright for night time use. I suspect that the local mounties would want to talk to me about that much light.

Still, using them is better than being rear ended......

Be sure to check with your state's laws on lighting.
They can be tough to find but you'd be surprised how different they are state to state.
If you travel/tour on your scoot you might find you are violating the law and really mess up your planned for expenses.
I also know those types of lights may require a special permit to be used such as for ambulances, private security, utility vehicles, etc...or to be used off the public roadways only.
I sure could make a police bike clone real fast with a bunch of those though. :cool:

A few weeks ago, I purchased and mounted 2 Tomar 3 LED strobes in amber on the rear of the trunk lid of my Goldwing GL1800.. which are wired into my brake lights. Available from: www.LSHlights.com

A few weeks ago I got a Back Off brake modulator from my local cycle shop. It works great! Flashes for just a few seconds and then stops.
