I just got a fishing rod holder. It is an accessory for scooters in Japan. Many accessories for a scooter in Japan is just for appearance and not useful to me, but this one is useful. It was very nice to me though I did not go to fishing yet. Now, It is too cold here. Diameter of 30 mm rod fits to the holder.

I got 2 of them. One is attached to the foot board and the other attached to the number plate.

How do I get them?
1. Register Tenso.com
2. I got a Japanese address.
3. Go to Amazon.co.jp
4. Search "HU1002S" or "HU1005S" and buy them.
5. While buying in Amazon.co.jp, type the address I got from Tenso.com
6. Pay Tenso.com to ship to my home.

I e-mailed to Tenso .com to send them through surface shipment, so that I got some discount for the shipping fee although it takes very long time.

This one is to attach to a number plate. The size of Michigan number plate is different from Japanese number plate, so I had to make another through hole on the bracket.

This one is to attach to the foot flour of a scooter.

I do not have any relation to Tenso.com, or Amazon.co.jp, or maker of the fishing rod holder. I just bought them and I thought it is good to me.[attachment=0:visfqejh]fishing rod holder1.JPG[/attachment:visfqejh]

Very cool for us fishermen!
I used PVC for a very similar attachment and have the same collapsible pole you have. 8)
