Yea! Done. (It's an 08 with 13731 miles)
Got lucky and didn't have to re-shim.
EX .008 and .010- will probably re-shim next time.
IN both .006 middle of the range.
Some thoughts...
1. For being a clean-sheet bike, this is a really poor layout of components. Example, have to remove the left side body panels to remove the cramped intake box and ducts.
Same for my 97 Shadow (carburetors a nightmare to R&R) and 05 Concours (valve cover a puzzle to get out of the frame). I guess Japanese don't put thought toward the end user. German things are a magnitude worse though  Oh thank god it's not a BMW
1.1 I'm thinking of drilling strategic holes in the left side panels, to align with the airbox bolts, I hate removing body panels
2. Jeez there's a lot of sensors etc. there. I already replaced the speed sensor ($82) and shudder at the cost of a TPS, etc.
3. This took a few hours. But saved $$$$$$$$$$ compared to the dealer! If you are considering your own valve adj., go for it. With the help of this forum
you can do it. Just take your time and make notes (esp. when unplugging all those connectors).
Ride safe y'all!
