It does appear to be bad, however I would take it out examine the wiring carefully, and run the test again making sure I was on the right pins before spending any money

It is extremely hard to differentiate sounds on a phone recording. Describe it. Also did you check the Primary pulley bolt as advised? Did you put your stopper bolt back in properly?

the chirpy sound on mine doesn't vary quite as much as his, other than that, it sounds like mine, maybe cause I'm deaf

Assume you mean the stopper bolt has been changed?
Have you checked the primary pulley bolt. Last time I am asking

Yes In the video the bolt has come loose and worn a hole in the cover plate not good as it will also chew up the splines on the pulley very expensive

Primary pulley stripped splines
So 2014 model 57k miles. On the commute home lost drive FI light comes on. Got recovered and today stripped the bike down. I thought the belt had gone but I put a new belt in at 32k miles after my engine blew up. I went the Buffalo route (cheers buffalo) and jacked the frame up. Engine is still...
