Don't laugh too much. I've had that happen with a bad fill of gas in the tank.
Also can be due to dirty air filter. When was the last time that was swapped?
Or check the spark plugs?
That's what I would check in that order for a FI (Fault Indicator).
there's posts on here to tell you how and where to stick a paperclip in the test plug to get the fault Isolate code and then go from there , mine's a 15 so I can't help much with a 06 but I know we got peple who can. Also if by chance it does start and the Fault Isolate light stays on, better not to keep it running as damage could result.
