My not-quite-two-year old cat has a problem. He's severely constipated and has a urinary infection. He's in the vet hospital now. His treatment will probably cost almost $800.00. While I can afford it, it will make things very tight, and I'll probably have to juggle some bills.

I've set up a GoFundMe, and if anyone feels moved to help, please do so. http://www.gofundme.com/RupertGetWell

My cat Suzy had a severe, longtime urinary problem (she howled when she peed) which we cured by means of a pill named NUTRACYS sprinkled on her food once daily, then feeding her ROYAL CANIN URINARY biscuits which she still loves. It took a few months but now she is fine. A highly recommended course. Good luck. PM me if you need more info. Meanwhile here's $50 for Rupert. Ken

I thought this was a joke.

If you have bills you can't , or don't want to pay, have you considered getting rid of frivolous items, like a motorcycle.

I am not heartless Maybe too practical and too proud.

Good luck with your cat

That is a very ill-thought out, frivolous and not very helpful reply. Do you know if he needs his bike for his work? Did you find out? He didn't say he was not paying the bill. Some of us understand his predicament and I, as a socialist, I have tried to help a little. Too proud to help a little animal in distress? You thought it was a joke? You have a very skewed sense of humour!

I commend you for taking your cat to the vet for medical treatment. Nothing crawls into our souls like an animal.

Excellent news. Give Rupert a hug from me. Nothing beats the love of an animal. Hey, gave up my last girlfriend for a Pug Dog. Granted, something is missing, but he is devoted to me, thinks I'm great all of the time, etc. Plus, he rides with me on my Gold Wing 100% of the time. When I buy a Burgman 650, it will be the same! Pugsley's best buddies are cats, three of them, all barn security cats for my Wing and Vespa.
