‘I agree, there was clear and compelling evidence (video) that this train had serious issues many miles prior to the accident. The question is… did Norfolk Southern know that?

I’ve heard there are sensors on the rails that transmit radio info to the driver. There should be a log of such transmissions.

Yes
So if that part of the report stands scrutiny, the crew are probably in the clear.
They were also under their cleared speed

So what happened at MP59 becomes critical, does it exist/was it faulty as the HB report before that report comes from an MP, 20 miles away (if I understand it correctly).

Edit (according to google over 500 US banks failed in last 15 years, that surprised me)
I think it would be 5x that if it went for bank bailouts ….
Funny how the banks alway have money to give bonuses before the big swim.
