I’ve heard there are sensors on the rails that transmit radio info to the driver. There should be a log of such transmissions.

They were also under their cleared speed

So what happened at MP59 becomes critical, does it exist/was it faulty as the HB report before that report comes from an MP, 20 miles away (if I understand it correctly).

Yes, but they work like ground proximity warnings in aircraft. You are going 200-300 mph and get a 10 second warning that you are approaching a non-movable object... sometimes you make it and sometimes you don't.
